This is a concept I adopted at book signings and it seems to have taken off! At my most recent signing in Sheffield, there was so much interest from readers and authors alike and it’s proven to be sooo popular.
You don’t know what the cover looks like, basically all you get is a few key words telling you what the brown package you’re buying generally contains. You go in blind, with no expectations, and I think this is something that really works for people with a healthy interest in the unknown who are willing to take a risk!
As I’m not doing another signing in a while now, I’ve decided to sell my BDWAB’s on a more regular basis – so if there’s anything below you fancy, send me an email firstname.lastname@example.org and I can invoice through PayPal.
Thanks to everyone who came to my table in Sheffield and chatted, bought books or generally enquired what it is that I actually write about. This is, in a way, why I started the Blind Dates – because I write so many different books, these little packages help people see without me going on and on about plots, while trying not to give away numerous spoilers, and/or generally tell you the whole thing before you’ve even dived in! It really is getting hard to define what genre I’m most known for – I guess proper stories with steamy scenes covers a lot of bases but not all.
So, here’s what you can choose from. As I said, mail me, message me on FB or Instagram and we can arrange payment, then I will mail out one or more of these beauties to you (prices not inclusive of P&P).

I was leaving double maths and feeling fucking knackered one Friday afternoon, when a group of people dashed past me down the corridor, squealing with excitement.
I was not in the mood, not after double maths with the teacher from Hell.
Walking across the quadrangle, ready to go straight out of the school gates and head home, I got accosted by Dario who grabbed me by the scruff of my neck.
“Get your clown hands off me!”
“Come, on, come on! You’ve got to see this! Come on!”
He started running, to I knew not where, and eventually I realised what was going on.
Kayla and her group were rehearsing in the hall and everyone had decided it was a party. It was nearly Christmas but soon enough, the teachers would find out we were all down here, gawping up at Kayla and swaying together like it was New Year’s Eve. She was performing at the Christmas disco the following week and that’s why they’d let her have this stage to practice. They always let groups studying A level music perform each Christmas, but only the best—and it was the first time ever they’d let a rock group perform. That was just a sign of how good Kayla was.
“Right you fuckers, tell me what to sing next!”
I arrived during a break, so I had to wait to hear her sing.
“‘Rape Me’ by Nirvana,” shouted Dario, and I nearly kneed him in the cock.
Since we’d met three months ago, I’d got the distinct impression from Kay that seeing each other in that way was off the table and I figured there was a big reason why.
I didn’t like to ask. I didn’t even want to envisage it.
I had my suspicions, and that was all.
I mean… she needed protecting, right?
And she only wanted to protect herself.
Anyway, she quirked an eyebrow at Dario and talked to her band.
“All right,” she said, flicking the microphone wire behind her, “none of the band know that one cos they’re all boring twats so we’re gonna do ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’. I know you all love it and so does a friend of mine.”
She avoided looking at me when she said it, but I knew it was aimed at me.
The growing crowd cheered, and she grinned.
Kayla threw a guitar over her shoulder and put her microphone in its holder.
The drummer counted them in and she strummed her first chords.
I watched as she played and sang, her voice gravelly when it needed to be, mimicking Bon Jovi. Her shoulders jigged to the music and she curled her lip, getting into the emotion of the song, her fingers masters over the guitar she was holding. Her facial expressions were evocative of the song, her soul a real rocker’s soul, even though her voice could be adapted, you could tell that from the way she could sing the higher notes.
I caught gooseflesh from my scalp to my toes. I’d never felt anything like this before—a wave of shock and awe sweeping through me, filling me with joy.
I knew I was watching someone very, very special.
She just happened to be my friend.
After the song, the band started right on with another Bon Jovi track, this time, ‘Bed of Roses’.
She took the stool behind the mic and put her guitar on the ground.
“This is for all you dirty fucks,” she said, her laugh rough and dirty, too.
I smiled wider than I’d ever smiled before.
She sang ‘Bed of Roses’ in what you could tell was her more natural voice and the powerful Jazz sound she produced caught the whole room up in a contemplative atmosphere.
Then at the choruses, she took to the floor and belted out her full range, shocking the room with her astounding standard.
I wanted to cry.
I wanted to go grab her off stage and kiss her face off.
Instead, I just smiled.
And I smiled.
To say she’d told me time and time again that she didn’t like Bon Jovi (even though she knew I did), she sure did know the lyrics, probably better than I did.
After that she sang Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Stereophonics, stuff I knew Kayla wasn’t really into. Pantera, Megadeth and Metallica were more her kind of music, but Kayla knew that people wouldn’t be wanting that at a school disco.
The party got broken up and everything went quiet, everyone went their own ways.
Kayla and her people had to tidy up and I was in no state to be sociable.
I went home and hid in my bedroom, probably for the next three days.

I’ve written loads of new books since finishing work on the Sub Rosa Series but the characters I spent so much time with in Unbind, Unfurl, Unleash and Dom Diaries have stayed with me, and while I’ve been writing other novels, characters from the world of SUB ROSA have been slowly but surely telling me their new stories.
I can confirm I am hoping to release another THREE books in the saga, taking the total up to SEVEN novels in all.
There are many strong characters in the series and some we haven’t heard from yet, not in their own voice anyway. Some have been begging me to tell their stories for quite some time and in one respect, I’ve held off telling their stories! I’ve known exactly what’s to come and that’s why I’ve put off telling these last three tales.
So the first up to tell a brand-new story is Mark Lutz! If you remember, he featured in Unleash. He’s Chloe and Kayla’s childhood friend. His story WORTH IT will release in December 2018, exact date TBC.
For now I hope this synopsis is enough to whet your whistle:-
Mark Lutz was doing so well. He was in therapy to tackle his sex addiction and everything looked brighter. He was pulling himself together. Then, he had a relapse.
Now he’s at a standstill. He’s lost everything. His job. The love of his life. His self respect. He feels like there’s no point in trying anymore because he’ll only end up failing.
He needs a friend more than anything, someone who genuinely cares. That friend comes in the form of Cai Matthews, who has an offer Lutz cannot refuse.
One of the Sub Rosa Trilogy’s many strong characters, Lutz has a unique story to tell, one of self-discovery, healing and dramatic truths.
**It is highly recommended you read Unbind, Unfurl and Unleash before this novel**
The series should be read as follows:
Chloe meets Cai as she starts a new job in London. Their chemistry is undeniable but forces outside of their control threaten to pull them apart, including a mystery seemingly unsolvable. Purchase now
Cai’s life prior to meeting Chloe comes under scrutiny and we finally learn all the secrets behind his motivations, his actions and his deceptions. Purchase now
Chloe’s best friend Kayla has somehow been dragged into the Sub Rosa mystery and its tentacled influence. A brand-new love story unfolds, but will Cai’s family tragedy get in the way? Purchase now
The Sub Rosa Series uncovers the deadly secrets of a famous magazine editor and her nephew.
While Jennifer Matthews runs the world’s most prestigious fashion magazine, her photographer nephew Cai has too many demons to count.
Living in the public eye has taken its toll but so far the Matthews have contained their dark truths. It’s when journalist Chloe meets Cai that secrets threaten to spill out in the most destructive ways . . .
What results is a highly charged erotic journey featuring Chloe and Cai’s romance, and then that of her best friend Kayla, as she gets dragged into the Sub Rosa mystery too.

A series about real issues, with a little bit of mystery, intrigue, shock and delight all thrown into the mix…
I found this book compelling, I wanted to read more about the intricacies of the main characters lives. The detail to attention is amazing and I really could picture the area and characters.
Jules and Warrick are both complex people with troubled pasts, a chance meeting could be the saviour of them both or it could spell disaster.
This story is about heartbreak and loss, the need for human connection and physical closeness. It’s a beautiful story.
Jules has not had an easy life but she is surviving and getting on with her life, the love and loss of a man leaves her broken and she finds herself spending her Saturdays searching and craving for some physical contact, just a hug will do. Warrick spots Jules and watches her every Saturday and finally decides to see if she is ok? A friendship develops that has the potential to go further but both of their pasts and secrets hold these two back. The story takes twists that you wouldn’t expect but it flows so well.
I’m looking forward to reading Beyond Angel Avenue and where the author will take the story of Jules and Warrick.
I loved this book. A love story that took a slow meandering path with a few unexpected twists and turns that left me wanting to shout at the author. I enjoyed the way the characters got to know each other’s flaws…..Warts and all.
Lets see where exactly to begin. It would be easier to tell you what I will not say…like tell you about the characters and what happens. Hey! That takes all the fun out of you reading the book right? Right!
I will suggest you have a box of tissues near by, you may find you need them. Just sayin’.
I really want to thank Book Bub for letting me know about bargains available from Amazon. The choices certainly have allowed me to learn about authors I would not have known. Kinda reminds me of the days of going through the bargain books at different stores. Just to see and always walking away with at least four books. Sorry got a little side tracked here but it was because of this that I learned of this book.
Yes it is a romance novel but no where near what you would think one would be like. This was more like the slice of two people’s lives that come together that are really great for each other but they have so many wounds and ghosts some of them causes a lot of pain and time to work through.
We all have some of these skeletons in our closets some we have buried so deep we think that we have dealt with them but in actuality we have not. For me the story struck close to home, sometimes too close. But there is also a cleansing that can happen as well.
I feel the Sarah has taken some very tough issues and worked them through her characters that not only brought them to life but made them a part of me In my humble opinion, it would be difficult for one to walk away from this book and not be changed from it.
View the early reviews…
I was lucky enough to read this book straight after Angel Avenue, I’m so glad the author decided to conclude the story. There was so much more depth to these characters than I first thought. I loved the first book but this just blew me away.
The story follows on directly from Angel Avenue and we see how Jules and Warrick deal with the next chapter of their life. However the ghosts from their pasts are still haunting them and in order to find closure they have to take some risks that might make or break them. They are dragged into situations that puts their life in danger and have no idea who they can trust.
The continuing story of Warrick and Jules is beautifully told. I was gripped and compelled by the story and the characters. A truly amazing series that will stay with me forever.

With 19 days to go until this book’s release… here’s a little snippet of BEYOND ANGEL AVENUE, an emotive, devastating tale. A sequel to Angel Avenue, this book delves into the archives, revealing why a hug meant so much to Jules when she first met Warrick Jones all those years ago…
Julianne, aged five, danced for her mother, some TV show blaring in the background. It was the Christmas holidays and they’d cleared a big space in the living room. Julianne’s father slept upstairs. Recently sacked from his job, he was constantly moody and irritable. Lorraine, the little girl’s mother, didn’t want her husband to know she was teaching Julianne to dance. She didn’t think he would understand. She also knew he might get jealous. Julianne’s one Christmas present was her first set of ballet slippers. While all the other boys and girls had piles of presents under the tree, this mother and daughter shared a gift beyond most people’s wildest dreams.
“Julie, no telling Daddy,” Lorraine would often say, and Jules would tap her index finger against her nose.
In her second year of school, Julianne would turn six in February but they didn’t have money for dance lessons so Lorraine taught her daughter at home.
“Extend, my pretty, oh that’s beautiful, that’s wonderful,” Lorraine exclaimed as Julianne – still so young – already demonstrated natural-born ability. “Have fun, move as you wish.”
Julianne pranced and giggled, swishing and swooping, her mother such a good teacher that she encouraged freedom of expression as well as discipline.
“First position Julianne, good.” The little girl raised her arm and held the back of the sofa to steady herself. “Plie, my darling, oh yes, keep your back… oh perfect, you don’t even need me to say.”
It was clear how much strength the little girl already had in her core. She had muscle definition, even for one so young. Lorraine had been teaching Julianne since she was three and a half.
They heard creaking upstairs, signifying Julianne’s father was getting up.
“Quick baby, let’s put the room back.”
They returned the sofa against the wall and put the coffee table back in the middle of the main floor space. They sat on the sofa and Lorraine grabbed some Value crisps for them to sit and eat, making it look like they’d been doing nothing but veging out in front of the TV.
“Where’s my tea?” Julian Simonovich asked gruffly, falling heavily into his armchair.
Without a word, Lorraine stood up and went to the kitchen.
Julianne stared at the TV, not looking at her father.
When Lorraine returned to the room with tea and toast for Julian, she told him, “We’re going out for the groceries, alright?” Her voice carried little affection.
“Get me some more of them pop tarts,” he grumbled, “fucking hate scabby toast.”
For your munchies, more like, thought Lorraine.
“We can hardly afford bread let alone overpriced junk,” Lorraine countered.
“So get another job. It’s not my fault I got sacked.”
Lorraine bit her tongue. It was his fault, but he was looking for anyone else to blame it on.
“I can’t. What about Julie? Who will get her to school and pick her up?”
He grunted. He was barely out of bed before ten everyday and he would no doubt forget to pick his daughter up. Besides, Lorraine didn’t trust him to look after Julianne. Lorraine would do anything to keep her daughter safe. Anything. Working as a receptionist for six hours a day was all she could manage and she didn’t want to put upon Julie’s grandmother, who was a bitter woman with a bias for her son. A pub job in the evening would mean leaving her child with Julian and Lorraine didn’t trust him not to go out and leave her all alone. She wouldn’t have put it past him. In the last year everything had changed for the worse and Lorraine was worried about the future.
“Let’s go, Julie,” Lorraine ordered, helping the girl on with her coat and boots.
They left the house, trundling down the hill towards the centre of town and the shops. In Frozen Foods, they picked up all the bargains on the £1 shelves and Lorraine submitted to Julian’s demand for pop tarts.
“Why are you sad, Mummy?”
“I’m not sad.”
“You are. Why don’t you dance with me? Why don’t you want Daddy to know I dance?”
Avoiding Julianne’s eyes, Lorraine explained, “A demon lives in Daddy. It makes him say and do and want bad things. Dancing is a good thing, yes?”
“Yes,” Julianne nodded, happily.
“He might try to take away anything good from us. We must keep all our good locked away, so he can’t steal it. That’s why I put your dance fund under the floor, honey.”
Lorraine was saving up a few pounds each week so that Jules could go to dance school when she was older. For now, most of her hopes and dreams seemed so far off – but she had great ambition for Julianne, her second chance.
“Can we go to the park?” asked Julianne.
“Okay, but it’ll be very snowy!!”
“That’s okay, I want to build a snowman.”
Lorraine sat on a bench with the shopping at her feet, chilling it on the ground. Julianne pranced and rolled in the snow, giggling her head off.
“Show me how to dance the snow angel dance, Mummy! Show me, show me!”
“No, darling, no.”
Lorraine stood and wobbled on her feet. “No, Julianne. No. Let’s go home.”
The child held her mother’s hand on the way home but she was shaking and trembling, in fear of her mother suddenly.
“I’m sorry, Julie, but I had my love of dance stolen from me. I never fulfilled my promise darling.” Bitter tears gathered but didn’t fall from Lorraine’s eyes.
They arrived home to an empty house and Lorraine grumbled to herself. Julian had no doubt gone out for his fix. While he was gone, Julianne suggested, “I’ll dance again to cheer you up?”
“No, no, darling, it’s okay. I don’t want you straining your little legs. We’ve tired you enough today. Why don’t we just do each other’s hair, hmm?”
“I like doing your hair, Mummy.”
Julianne brushed out her mother’s hair, which fell to her waist. The little girl tried to plait it but wasn’t quite skilled enough yet and by the end, she was making more knots than anything. Then Lorraine skilfully plaited Julianne’s hair into a French braid.
“You’re my beautiful mummy,” Julianne exclaimed out of the blue, and Lorraine squeezed her daughter tight, feeling richer for having a daughter’s love.
Lorraine would never leave her daughter to that foul man.
But for some reason, she did…
The story begins in 2011. Journo Chloe Harmon starts a new job in London and meets photographer Cai Matthews, a younger man with talents beyond Chloe’s comprehension. Not only is he talented, he’s trapped by a mystery from the past he’s been bound by. He has NO WAY OUT. He cannot turn a corner without his every move being recorded by his ever-watchful aunt, Jennifer Matthews, a world-famous fashion editor with vast amounts of power at her fingertips.
Cai may be trapped. However, Chloe chases Cai even when he leaves the country because she has a few life experiences under her belt which have made her tougher than she seems. UNBIND is where the story begins and UNFURL is where it continues…
Chloe knows there was a death. It has been painted so many different ways already and there are still other ways of painting it yet. There are questions to be answered and the story gets darker as Cai and Chloe try to make a life together…
In the concluding part of the trilogy, UNLEASH, the story drags Chloe’s best friend Kayla Tate into the fray. Chloe and Kay have known each other for decades, since they started school. They’ve come in and out of each other’s lives but have always been there for one another when it’s counted. UNLEASH sees Kay face up to a lot of truths about herself, her friends and the man she loves. It’s a conclusion to the trilogy which gives answers to all the questions and brings two people Chloe loves together, at last.
Sarah Lynch has written for as long as she can remember. Writing was always going to be the job she did and after working in journalism, the birth of her first child encouraged her to finally take up her pen and try her hand at creative writing instead.
As S. M. Lynch, she pens science-fiction, and her UNITY series is currently in the process of being re-edited. As Sarah Michelle Lynch, she pens erotic romance, sometimes with thrilling, psychological elements added in. Her characters are real, add depth to beefy, mind-bending stories and ask questions of her readers she is too afraid to answer herself.

The first 5* reviews of Unleash have started to come in…
Book three brings Kayla Tate to the forefront, delving into her background and relationships. Kayla has featured in the two previous books as Chloe’s best friend, she has supported Chloe through the trials and tribulations of her relationship with Cai Matthews but it turns out she is more involved in the mystery than we realised.
Kayla is a strong and feisty woman, having a troubled past has made her the woman that she is today. Whilst following Kayla’s budding relationship the ever present Claudia Matthews weaves her secrets and lies in everyone’s lives. Is Kayla strong enough to unleash the lies and finally solve the mystery?
This is a fast paced book, and the author has done the story justice, how she was able to keep on top of the web of lies I have no ideas but I was gripped!
This series has had me in suspense and the ending is perfect! I have to re-read this series to see if I have missed anything, or if the truth is hidden within the pages.
This is a sexy, mystery that you will not want to put down!
Don’t forget the first book in the series is just 99pence/cents (click images to buy):
I have a few editing projects on my plate at the minute and editing for other people is something I am going to be doing more and more of come September when my daughter starts school full-time. More details to follow on that soon. Currently I am fully-booked.

The Sub Rosa Trilogy has been a part of my life for almost eighteen months but last summer when I finished Book One, Unbind, I wasn’t sure I had the energy or the inclination to write more in the series. This almost did not happen. It was always in the back of my mind that the series could be a trilogy but for some reason, I was hesitant to make it so. However I’m happy to confirm I’m really glad people asked for more and I’m really pleased with what I’ve ended up with!
Now, I finally bring you the third and final book in the series. Would I like to write more of these characters? The answer is yes. Will I? No. Absolutely not. I have to leave it where it is now. The story is wrapped up and that’s that. I might write extra scenes, release deleted scenes, but the story ends in Unleash. These characters can only live on in readers now. So it’s with sadness I say goodbye, it’s with happiness and anticipation I let the books fly free.
Have you ever fallen for the wrong person – knowing they’re not the one for you?
For Kayla Tate, pain and disappointment are all she has ever known when it comes to love. Is it that she never learned from her mistakes? Or is there a ghost from her past she’s yet to lay to rest?
Kayla embarks on a journey during which harsh lessons will be learned and relationships will be tested. It seems to centre around the Sub Rosa mystery, but where will she begin to unpick the threads? All she knows is that something doesn’t add up . . .
Kayla’s heartbreaking story is about lifelong friendships, taking chances and finding that one person who’s willing to risk it all with you – at exactly the right time.

Unleash is a story about love though it does answer a lot of questions left unanswered regarding the Sub Rosa secrets. I wanted to write a perfect love which has the most imperfect beginning and not only is it a perfect love, it’s a perfect love between two hugely flawed characters. It’s about how people in real life come to the BDSM lifestyle and how the lifestyle can be abused but also, how BDSM can change the lives of people and bring them closer than they ever imagined possible.
And, that’s that.
